Now I need to get a power supply first. My old 6600 is about shot as far as games and such go and i wanna get this 275 up and running. So My thought is, Spend the money, get a power supply and get the card in and functional on this box. Then after i pay off my rack&pinion and this bull**** medical bill i just got i can get a motherboard/ ram/ processer/ SSD setup and go from there.
I dont mind the overkill on the power supply, gives me options down the road. That's how I've kept the system i have going for so long.
Pretty pissed black friday is knocking the price right off everything I would have bought -_-

If you don't mind having overkill on your PSU, then go with this, as it is a better unit than the OCZ that was linked, and its cheaper.

OK.

Done a lot of playing around. The extra money I was gonna get didn't come through, so after paying for my car repairs I'm flat broke. LOL..

The 275gtx I got for free doesn't work in this motherboard. Apparently it has to do with the chipset and PCIE version, or so I was reading.

Also ended up flashing bios, reinstalling OS, re-overclocking and a lot of other crap with this machine this week.

My 6600gt is completely failing and I'm scared to pick up any pcie 2.0 card to put in this board so I just got a 512 mb 7950gt on ebay for 30 bucks. Thats 5 times the memory of the card I have now lol. If that makes it till after Christmas I should be golden.

If that power supply you suggested is still on sale in 2 weeks I may go ahead and get it just to save the loot.

After that I've narrowed it down to getting a 990fx board, 95w 6 core, just sucking it up and buying loads of ram and the best 240gb SSD I can get for the money (unless something bigger goes on sale).

Lets see how this plays out. I'll check back in.
