Best 7950

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I can't decide between the Sapphire 7950 Boost and the Asus DirectCUII Top V2.

Which of the two will be the best? in performance, Sound and power consumption or other important differences?

Thanks in Advance!

P.S. I know that Sapphire is the cheapest one, but that's not one of my concers. I'll probably be using this card alot for 3d software and other of that stuff.

Go with the Sapphire in my opinion, it's cheaper and I believe the Asus is a triple slot and the Sapphire is a dual slot smile.gif

And which one to choose between the MSI 7870 Hawk 2GB and Sapphire 7950 Boost 3GB where the Sapphire is like $50 more expensive. I will overclock, but I'm not a super fanatic gamer...

Thanks!

Get the sapphire HD 7950 boost and overclock it. clock for clock HD 7950 is 3 - 5% slower than HD 7970. HD 7950 (1.15 Ghz) is 25 - 30 % faster than HD 7870(1.25 Ghz) .

Get the Gigabyte 7950, damn solid well built card. Sapphire is OK, but their RMA process SUCKS and it only has 2yr warranty where the Gigabyte has 3.

But I can get the Sapphire for €30,- less, which comes in handy since I'm on a budget...

Thanks though!
