Is it more delicate than say an iphone 4? I remember there were a lot of people complaining about it breaking, it had a gorilla glass back too. I dropped my iphone 4 really hard on cement without a case more than once and it never cracked.

Some guy on YouTube did a drop test with the phone. His broke about 6 feet from concrete... But the damage from the 3 foot fall was negligible. Some people on xda have reported breaks from even shorter falls though so it's really hard to say...
No matter what, the phone is pretty delicate so avid droppers might take the risk
Edit: written from my nexus 4
the swipe typing is by far one of the most useful things on this phone IMO lol

Completely wrong. I've held a Nexus 4 and it feels like solid glass.
My brother dropped his iPhone 4 several times and 100% of the time always broke the glass.
Why do you think one of the worst complaints about the iPhone 4 was the easily broken glass when dropped?

Try pushing the back of the phone. You will feel the back touching the battery. iPhone 4 glass back does not bend like that.

It's no where near as delicate as an iPhone 4. The iPhone does not use any type of chemically hardened glass. It's just glass. If you press firmly with your thumb it will crack. We use iPhone 4s at work. We have about 50 in our office right around me and every single one is cracked on both the front and back. They have all been replaced the maximum number of times by the warranty company so we all have to use them with cracked screens. Most of them the glass on back falls out in large sharp shards since it isn't safety coated or chemically treated.
I don't drop my phones but I'm not really gently with them either. My Nexus 4 can definitely take a beating.
