So i am ready to push my cpu to the next level. I currently pull 1.34 volts vcore for my 4.7ghz overclock. I actually set it to 1.3 volts in bois but my llc is set to high so i think it pulls a little more because of this. Anyways i want a few more hundred mhz. I actaully need it for gta iv at the moment. What my true question is, what is the max v.core i can use without being in danger of any cpu degrade. Well i guess every oc is gonna to cause some but what is the max voltage that I can use with minimal degrade. My temps are pretty sweat at 4.7ghz so i know i got a little left in her. Temps 50-52 .c full load for an hour is what i got a few months ago. I have a pretty good loop on it. I just want this cpu to laste me 2-3 years and maintain its speed and good oc at low voltages.

1.35v is the max according to intel. I run 1.344v and would probably recommend staying below 1.35v on the core. That being said you may be able to pull a bit more out of it by bumping the VPLL and VSCCA.

1.4v is the max you'd like to go:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1189242/sandy-bridge-e-overclocking-guide-walk-through-explanations-and-support-for-all-x79-overclockers
This chart was presented in December 2011 and applies to C1 chips. It's been said C2 chips can't handle anything more than 1.2v VCCSA 24/7.
Otherwise the IMC will degrade quickly. Most likely you won't need any more than 1.2v for VCCSA and VTT anyways.

Yes, 1.4 Vcore is generally considered the safe limit. Of course, some go higher. I've been sticking to about 1.34V just because my air cooler only does so much with the temps at 4.6GHz 1.342V. I like to stay below 60 °C.

Be careful! If you set 1.3V for VCore in bios it can not be 1.34 -> you done something else in bios so voltage jumps over (it is not LLC)
