I have now completed the singleplayer, and the game looks good, but i can't figure out how the game can use up to max 2.8gb video memory despite the not so good textures of some elements, and the game isnt supporting nvidia surround so well either :/

I don't know if it is true for this game too but for example in BF3 the GPU uses over 2gb vram at times too and I was told that the game was designed in a way that if the GPU had more vram, than the game would take advantage of it.

Maybe its the case with Black ops 2 too.

The game uses my entire gigabyte of memory of my HD 6850 and also something that's really strange ...it takes a lot of RAM memory ,around 6GB when running skype ,chrome and some other background programs. That's a lot compared to other games...In BF3 i have around 4GB on average usage and BF3 has way better visuals and etc. , more demanding game as a whole

Just like Windows 7, a friend has 4GB of ram and his system can idle at 800mb or so. I've got 16GB and my system idles at 3GB! It's actually amazing the difference.

Just played this game Single Player for about 2 hours and the textures look very similar to the previous generations (like call of duty 2).

I was getting around 180-200 fps on 2x6970 and the game just looked terrible....It is obviously a very basic PC port without any PC enhancements.

wish someday game companies realize the power of PC graphics and don't make these crappy ports. Thanks for BF3, Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim, borderlands 2, need for speed the run (after patch 60 fps unlock) and some other games I still get to enjoy my $3K PC investment but some games are just programmed purely for console and the lazy developers don't make any efforts to at least add a High Texture PC patch for us that shed $60-$90 to buy a game that looks like crap.

I don't care if it's ugly, the whole purpose of the CoD series in my eyes is focus on twitch-action gameplay that will strike your nerves every single turn, which multiplayer does very well IMO.

Agreed. I, buying the new crysis for pretty and story line. Black ops is for unique on edge multi player. That being said I think its a good looking game still. By far the best out of the franchise.
