Does this game really use dedicated servers?
There are no admins and Nat status. What's Nat:Moderate mean?

Yes it does but they are managed by treyarch. When you play a match you are on a dedicated server.

I've never known NAT being an issue or concern when playing on dedicated servers. As far as I know Nat doesn't effect game play speed itself. It can effect the communication level with other players like chat, etc. Something that's not an issue when dealing with a dedicated server.

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy the game, does anybody know where I can find it for under $60. I can't really justify paying sticker price for it. There used to be some good deals earlier but now I can't find anything

Just like Blacklight Retribution uses DX11. If it uses DX11 it uses DX11. That term isnt being "thrown" around.

Crysis 3 is going to use many different forms of tessellation, look up the tech demos. The only game out there that noticeably benefits from DX11 is BF3, but only via its multithread support. And yes the term is thrown around all the time, you may be surprised if you look around these forums and others. "Game looks good, but it isn't DX11 frown.gif" -> I see this all the time.

Ive never seen any deals for this game on the PC before release. The only deals I can possible foresee maybe associated with any holiday deals. But that's just a guess on my part.

Would you recommend this game to me?
A bit of FPS history that might help:
Played some BF1942 10 years ago
Next FPS game was Battlefield 3
So i never played any CS, COD or any other FPS.
I am good at BF3, playing the ESL and such.
Thanks!
To be honest I would say no. I enjoy BF3 way more than Black Ops 2 so far and probably always will. I'm still going to play the heck out of Blops2 anyways since I really liked Blops1, It just seemed like they took out all the good features from Blops1. If you enjoy hardcore in Black Ops then this game is a big letdown. You're limited to 4 game modes and 6v6 (on a damn PC game) in hardcore mode. If you play softcore mode then you can go up to a max of 9v9 BUT it's only for softcore, which in my opinion is just a noob spray fest. And for some reason the aim doesn't feel very smooth in this game compared to BF3.

Anyone having problems with aiming? It just feels like my aiming isn't very "smooth". In BF3 my mouse movement is perfect so idk what it is with COD. I'm not talking about sensitivity either, just the general smoothness of the aiming.

Works fine for me. might seem that way cause BF3 is such slow game play in comparison to CoD. Game is very twitchy, but that's how its supposed to be.

What I don't like about number 2 is they seemed to have nerfed the knife range, unless you have a knife as weapon. I walk around corner while reloading and there is a enemy so a melee but, it does nothing unless Im right on him.
