sorry i offended your overly-delicate sensibilities. (see how easy it is to slip in an insult under the guise of an apology biggrin.gif)

It's all good man, all good.  And it wasn't intended to be a insult .thumb.gif

ha, good man! glad some people can recognize good-natured ribbing.
on topic, anyone else in love with the SMR? something about that thing with ACOG that's just wonderful. seems lethal even hip-firing at extremely close range.

You could try removing the Call of Duty BO II/players/user*.cgp files.  Just move them to the desktop and see if the SP/MP starts up.

It was directly from the COD resdist.
Where are the user files?

I'm really hoping it was one of those situations where you just thought he had an aimbot. I heard this was the main issue with the CoD series on the PC. Always full of wallhacks, autoshoot, and aimbots. I really hope this isn't the case; cheating to win.

Is there Punkbuster or some Anti-Cheat service?

I hope so, because I had a good time playing it last night.

Did you download from steam or did you install via disk?

Its all FPS even BF3 its just more predominant in CoD cause more people play CoD. There already are hackers, but treyarch has been banning most within 48Hrs. Lets hope they stay on top of it. That's why the should have kept rented servers so we can just kick.

The missing players directory is probably the result of not getting the game to start up.  Did you give those 3 files at the bottom admin rights?

Also use Alt+V to bring up Menu Bar for Explorer.  Then goto Tools > Folder Options > View Tab and enable "Always Shows Menus" if you want them to be visible every time you use explorer.

Big Edit:

Ok, I just noticed you are using Vista.  This game uses DX11 and you have to update to SP2 (I believe) to get DX11 support.  Are you sure you have the latest service pack for Vista so that you have DX11 support?
