Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 temps...

Hey guys, just wondering what sort of temps my GTX 580 can handle? I have this client installed
http://www.overclock.net/t/977412/windows-7-complete-client-v7-guide which i guess all of you might know it folds with your graphics card and your CPU.. anyway, my GPU is at 81 degrees celcius with the fan speed set to 68%, is that too hot for the card or not? should i turn the fan speed up a little?

Thanks in advance, Garry88.

81c is fine, if you were hitting 100c then i'd be a little concerned. If you are worried though, some 580's came out with really crappy thermal pads/paste. You can always strip the shroud off and give it a clean and replace all the pads. That'll drop the temps a bit for you biggrin.gif

Yeah, I know it can be a little disconcerting when people are saying "Don't ever let your CPU hit 85 or more", the thing is the GPU is designed to get that hot because of the workload it has to deal with. Again, if you are concerned there are a few options for you, like replacing the thermal pads or going with an aftermarket cooler.
