Very Strange GTX 260.

I thought only the 216SP version were 55nm and 487mm².

This is not the original bios, I flashed with a Gigabyte SOC bios which originally had 680mhz on the core clock at 1.17v, changed that to 1.18v and 750mhz.

I wonder why I have a B1 revision 55nm chip and I only have 192SP.

Even with the stock bios GPU-Z reported a 55nm chip B1 revision with 192SP. Do you think these 216SP are somewhere in there?

My best guess would be its some type of bug with GPUz. You could check the device ID hex code in nibitor to see what kind of card that bios originally came from.
I remember for a while gpuz had a hard time telling the difference between 55nm and 65nm G92 parts and it caused a lot of controversy over who owned a 9800gtx and a 9800gtx+

To my knowledge, as you stated, no 192 sp parts have been produced on the 55nm process.

I suppose one sure fire way to know how many cores it has is by performance alone, if you have another 260 to compare it to.
Also, you could try to download nvidia inspector and see what it reports.

The original bios also reported 55nm and I know from which card the bios I put comes from. My bios mod has nothing to do with my question, I was just stating the fact that the bios was modded so don't pay attention to the Clocks and Device ID.
