[Various] Black Ops II Shipping with Mass Effect 2 Disc - Page 6

Perhaps someone thought they were the same game?
They look almost the same, both are the 2nd in a series.
Well done Activision. Who buys boxed copies anyway (except those with slow internet)?

Is it a BIG deal? Absolutely. Is it worth their jobs, honestly, I really don't think so...And the fact that Reddit is now calling for these people to get fired is incredibly overboard IMO.
The distribution center made a mistake, you couldn't play your game on game-night, okay...But, it's a game...We're in a recession and firing a team of guys is insanity.

I know if I made a mistake at my job that cost a company into the millions of dollars I'd certainly lose my job.

Also being in a recession is THE BEST time to fire people, you can get new hires for half the cost of the old people.

This sort of talk is what can quickly derail this into a political/economical flame war.

Needless to say, I'll just say I completely disagree with the basic foundation of what you're saying. We have no facts on this case to determine if anyone made an error in such a way that they should lose their job. Following up by taking advantage of those in need by hiring them at 'half the cost of the old people' is just horrible. It happens, I've seen it and lived it, and it's just wrong. If that comment was sarcasm, sorry... I hope it is, but that's a very touchy subject to blanket state like that. Considering how OCN is always raring for a forum fight, it may be a topic best left avoided.
