I need a keyboard under $60

Thread Starter
hey guys I just ordered a logitech g9x to replace my oem mouse and I need a keyboard under $60 that'll go with it .

I'd like it to be of the shorter variety as my kb+mouse space is only 23 inches long, but that doesn't matter much really . Backlighting would be really nice for the aesthetics and for when I get lost late at night, but once again it can be sacrificed . The thing that's really important to me is the knowledge my keyboard will not break and is well engineered .

Thank you guys so much for your help

Saw this on newegg Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard. A few bad reviews, but it meets your requirements.

Or one of these - Saitek Eclipse II Backlit Keyboard?

You should be able to catch a CM Quickfire on sale for that price.

So you're the one that posted this over on Geekhack...

Well if space is limited, then you'll want a tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard. CM Storm QuickFire Rapids are really good boards for the money, and can occasionally be found for around $60 (they're normally around $80).

There are a couple CM Storm QFRs listed in the OCN classifieds for right around that price.
