Has Google fixed the contact picture syncing problem? The one that makes all your contacts have disgustingly low resolution pictures if you enable contact syncing?

Hi Res Syncing has been fixxed for a while now in 4.1.2

PA 4.1.2 + camera for 4.2 works great! I wouldnt upgrade to 4.2 just yet.. for those that want to experiment with settings an connectivity.. are welcome. Im sure there is some build.prop that still needs to be polished before its a working ROM for the majority of us.

I'm still on 4.0.3 stock on my S2X... I really should get around to updating it myself instead of waiting for Telus...

Actually got the 4.2 update for my Nexus 7 a few days ago. The Clock/timer/stopwatch feature is very nice. The dual pull down menus are seriously cool too. One for your notifications, and one for tablet settings. The tablet doesn't seem to run any better, but then again, it's difficult to improve upon nearly flawless usage already.

Nice job Google! thumb.gif
