usable even after you install "ports" (which doesnt even seem to be the right terminology, but i digress...)

that took me a quick 5 second google search and i never even owned any of those wolfson dac devices...

the other stuff you mentioned im sure there are ways to enable/mod/fix them as well, but i dont care enough to cherrypick each solution for you.

not trolling, hating... just saying.

Can't wait to get CM10 with 4.2. Even with the lack of drivers for the Atrix, JB is far more stable, fast and battery-friendly than any other ROM.

CleanRom=best Sense Rom out there, especially for the HOX. Scott's a total badass and I love CR. thumb.gif

Why don't you read and check the validity of your message before you post.

Voodoo sound only works on stock *hint* look at what it says on the description

and for the so called "fix" or "solution", you said you were sure about it but pulled your butt up excusing it is way "too inconvenient"

Fact, no amount of "tweaks" could fix the fact that ports have poor drivers.

It's like fitting a go kart with a drs/double diffuser and pretending believing it has made the car "better"

please show me in the description where it said something about stock.. (no seriously I cant see anything about it at all)

what i do see though is

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

This app controls Voodoo sound for Galaxy S, Nexus S phones Galaxy Tab and Asus Transformer running custom kernels implementing Voodoo patches.
If you don't want or cannot flash a kernel, my commercial app "Voodoo Sound Plus" has the ability to load Voodoo Sound with only root on compatible devices.

Formely known as "Voodoo Control"

also why do you still continue to believe that everything that is non-stock is considered to be a "port" ?

look at the list of devices and what os it says on top of it.

anyways, it's interesting that latest kernel from wm8960 have it.
I did a little bit of digging and found that nexus s has been updated to jb which happens to have literally same hardware.

i guess, but it shouldn't be very surprising considering the fact that device is 2yrs old and the driver on the nexus s could be copied.

and to clear things up, ports are roms such as cm10/miui/aokp/aosp/aocp or whatever in existence.

they tend to be very buggy especially on new devices and lacks proper drivers.

custom roms on the other hand are much closer to stock as it basically use the same or modified kernel with added stuff.

iI myself use sense 4.5 v3 on my HTC EVO 4G LTE which is a custom rom based on htc sense.
