Sounds normal to me. Were you expecting perfect quality from a headset? It's probably an omnidirectional mic. See if there's a setting to lower mic volume somewhere in sound settings.

It doesn't make sense why someone would put a mic like that on a headset, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make sense that that's probably how it was created. Complain to Asus about it. Like Dar and I have said, your best bet is checking the settings to lower volume/turn off volume boost.
If not you're SOL.

im in the other end of of the mic and i can hear all he do and see if he sees a video on UTube or play a game i can hear it as good as i hear him talk and it noting with the settings it is as it should be.
it´s like the mic and the speakers are one its really weird if he take his other mic and turn of the one in the headset then there no problem so it something wrong with the mic in the headset

I could be wrong of course (probably am in fact), when your swapping mic's your just unplugging one and plugging in the other to the mic port without changing any settings? If your doing that and one has this effect and the other is good then either the mic on the headset is picking up the headphone speaker or a fault in the internal wiring is feeding the speaker to the mic - that seems unlikely though if tapping up the mic makes the music ect. quieter, it seems to be just "hearing" it.

it doesn't matter if the microphone is in or out of the earcup or if the microphone is in front of me or to the side no mater what and where the microphone is it still does it.
