aw helligans, any chance you can ask Dwood - or maybe I can - about making a set that clamps onto existing cabling ? ....
Dwood did question this, I'm pretty sure we could figure something out. Currently waiting to hear back from Dwood regarding a prototype/test. thumb.gif

Main post updated with peoples requirements.

The option would be to make them something along these lines. This would allow it to just clip on.

Really like this idea, perhaps this should be an option. Not sure if I like it more or less than the original type though!

Updated! Double 6pin PCI-E is a good idea, in fact I think that's what I'd prefer. I've added 12pin to the examples.

Don't for one minute think I'm not being selfish tongue.gif After some of these myself and without more interest I likely won't get any! thumb.gif I've updated the original post to reflect what you'd be after.

Double 8pin would be good yes, not many graphics cards which use it but can't see why it would be a problem adding it to the list. Regarding ixsis idea, it's good I like it very much but I'm a little concerned it either will be too tight to hold the cable (Could possibly fray paracord too) or it won't be tight enough and the cables will keep popping out.

Not heard anything back from Dwood yet, don't want to pester him as I'm sure he's pretty busy. I have pointed him towards this thread so hopefully he'll post here and clear up some design process queries etc. smile.gif

On another note I was thinking about a handy little addition which might help with cable management....

What do you guys think?

i think that in order to have the zip tie cutout, we will either need a larger guide or risk having a piece that may break too easily. These are already very small plastic pieces. Changing the dimension to accommodate the zip tie cutout makes them larger and a bit more 'in your face' types of things. That being said, to not add some bulk would risk making them more prone to cracking...

I think I'd sway toward no zip tie cutout just to ensure we can keep the size as small as possible.
