Aside from games, I have maybe 20 apps, 3 or 4 of which cost money. The 3DS/Vita aspect would be the biggest loss since the vast majority of game releases go to iOS - does Android even have Infinity Blade?

With the Nexus 4, you'll at least have a decent amount of longevity and the community will constantly ensure that new versions of the OS and custom roms and themes are available. That's one thing Apple can never have. Everyone has the same stock OS and the only thing you can really do is Jailbreak.
To me, Android is worth it all the way and the Nexus 4 is great.
As far as LTE goes though, do you live in an area with LTE? I don't so to me that's not a factor. Well, we have Verizon LTE but not on any other network just HSPA+.

I live in an area with 3 LTE networks. Nowadays, the carriers don't even focus on LTE as a selling point in their ads - it's become a competitive necessity.

Look at this way. At this point my friend that has a iPhone 4 considers a iPhone 5. Also its a nice phone hardware wise but man the iOS feels outdated if you want something special and want to use it more like a Smartphone. I dont know why people say u cant use big phones with one hand. Look at Galaxy Note 2 commercial. Lebron james cam easy handle it. Seriously trying to grasp iPhone like they say you can is very uncomfortable unless you have a case.

Lebrons hands are not the same size as most peoples hands. He is outside of the norm in terms of how much larger his hands are than the average person...

The hilarious part about this is.... if you're not a fanboy that list is a list of Cons, not Pros. Anandtech are huge iFanboys. Those benchmarks are garbage. In side by side tests current Apple devices get destroyed by last years Android devices. An A9 processor destroying an A15 processor? rolleyes.gif lol grow up Anand!

Yes, Really

Lets put it this way. Android update comes out everyone wants it because it in every way better then the old one.
I've owned a few android devices (Currently a Nexus 7) when it came to phones I wanted an update hoping it would:

A. improve my horrible battery life because whether I was stock or rooted with CyanongenMod the battery sucked.
B. It would provide a new feature that would make it worth keeping.

iOS update messes up phones, removes stuff, changes stuff, limits jailbreak. I still have iPad 3 in iOS 5.
I've personally never had this issue but I won't deny that it is a problem on many OS. Reset your phone and try again. What recent "stuff" has iOS updates removed or changed? Apple is removing vulnerabilities, which is the reason they are limiting them but please feel free to share your corporate conspiracy theory.

Apps? Play Store has more then enough apps to easily rival App Store.
It has apps but many of them are not close to what iOS has available unless you count Zynga games and Amazon Kindle. I

Battery life is all how you use the phone. With Android you can improve upon stock if you prefer.
Agreed, battery life is based on phone usage. However, the iPhone 5 is still able to provide longer battery life than the Nexus 4 and it doesn't require any user software modifications.

You cant compare Benchmarks from different platforms.
It seems to be commonplace on OCN for people to compare them when arguing from a performance standpoint. I'd prefer to get the device that has apps that have been optimized to make the most of its hardware and software and doesn't just throw up raw specs that aren't fully utilized./B]

Also where are the - stuff

- iTunes
I don't see iTunes as a negative. I was able to buy a iPhone 4S and transfer everything I had on iPhone 4 from a backup. My Music, movies etc. are right at my finger tips.

- Price
The unsubsidized price is $300 more but you get what you pay for.

- Size
This is purely subjective. I do not know what would suit the OP best. I personally prefer the size of the iPhone 5.

- OS outdated
How is iOS outdated?

I have to say, you referencing Lebron James as being able to handle the phone easily in one hand REALLY made me laugh out loud. Seriously....you can't compare someone that it outside the norm to an unknown. Work with averages my man. The average hand size of a man (according to theaveragebody.com) is 7.44" and Lebron's are reported to be roughly 9.25" (quick google searches) which is just "slightly" outside the norm....

I agree, I would rather have the Nexus 4 personally, but your last post listed some negatives to the Nexus as you were trying to list them as positives.
One advantage iOS has over Android, is the updates. You don't have to root/rom your device to get the updates with Apple. You likely wont have to with the Nexus either, but that can't be said for all Android devices.
iOS very well may have issues with 6.0, but Apple always fixes them. My wife has an iPhone and I am always taking care of it for her. The iPhone camera is better as is the battery life. If he lives in an aera where there is LTE, it very well could be a big benefit as well.
Apps in general do have better stability with the iPhone, but not always.

I personally don't like the closed end aspect of the iPhone, and being religated to iTunes and such, but that doesn't mean it is bad for someone who doesn't want to mess with all of that stuff. Sometimes it is better for people who just want to turn it on and go.

Just saying...
