Is there LED "sata cables" or LED Sleeves for sata cables?

Goal is... my pc emits enough light to keep the room lit, even in an antec p180 case closed front... ^_^

I have some cathode bar's, but they really don't cut it.. I eventually am getting led 120mm fan replacements also...

Basically I want to literally turn on the pc... and it emits a wave of light that bounces off the walls nicely in my office. Maybe a hint of a light show, or something...

I've googled a few pages, but only keep finding boot up issues for hardboot fails. And led/cathode cables alone, but not sata based cables, or "sata sleeves" or equivalent...

Now, last question... Perhaps maybe a brain fart... but "serial ata cable". Just to clarify... can it do sata 1, 2 & 3 speeds? Does it really matter the cable? Or am I way off? Just to clarify... Obviously I didn't google this... but asking honestly...

Sata cables are sata cables. They all have the same transfer speed. Some advertise sata 2/3 but it's a marketing gimmick. Side note those cables are pretty sweet.

The cable makes no difference AFAIK, just what port its plugged into. thumb.gif

Let’s first say that when we started this, we were absolutely sure we’d see a difference. Afterall, moving to an authentic SATA 6Gb/s cable cleared up our problems the first time right? Wrong. As we worked our way through the first few cables, we began to realize that the SATA I/O did its work when it first put together the Serial ATA spec for cables. There is virtually no difference between a brand-new SATA 6Gb/s marked cable made this year and one produced nearly eight years ago as far as performance goes. Expensive cable, cheap cable; long cable, short cable—none of it seemingly made a real difference. If anything, the minor variances in performance can be attributed to variances in the benchmark or the SSD.

yep you should have no problems with transfer rates with those nice glowing cables thumb.gif
