your device is not compatible with this version (galaxy nexus) - Page 2

I really think you should try. I can't guarantee it. Even same models have different outcomes when combined with different ROM or Kernels. Just nandroid and try different ROMs. You can try Cyanogenmod. Many people use this mod. And if you like to have a iPhone view type of phone, try MIUI.us. Just see how this goes, before trying to do anything else.

Ill give Cyanogenmod a go and maybe I'll so try installing cna 3.7

Is it possible for the kernel to be causing the keyboard or incompatibility issue?

It can, but I don't think it would be a problem here, since you have worse problems. Try out Cyanogen and see how that goes.

ok so here's what I've done. I completely formatted my phone, then installed cna 3.8 again (I tried Cyanogen but there were some features I really missed from cna). Everything was going great, I could install everything and the keyboard issue was fixed as well. So then I went to change my LCD Density because I like it at a lower dpi. Everything is still ok except I can't play any games by EA because I get the Server Error (5002).
I have tried running multiple DPIs and even tried using LCD Density Modder to install a file and trick the market into thinking I'm using DPI 240. I also followed the instructions in the cna ROM and cleared the market cache before changing DPI, and I also tried clearing cache and dalvik cache, reinstalling games and so on. I guess I'll have to run at 320 DPI or change it to 320 when I want to play an EA game, it's not like I play often and it doesn't take long. But surely there must be a way because people with 240 DPI as stock play the game.

You probably have to find a ROM that best suits you. I know how you feel. I use to use MIUI and it had some nice features. But then moving to new rom and phone, I had to start over. Instead of relying on a certain rom's feature, I actually looked for an app to replace it.

This seems to be a game and ROM compatibility issue. I'm not too familiar with your problem.

I still would suggest using another ROM if it isn't working 100% for you, but at least most are working now. Could it be because the EA game had a new update which is causing problems?

Sigh. Just installed Paranoid Android and I like it, especially the hybrid engine allowing you to set custom dpi for each app. I still have the same issue however, that unless EVERYTHING is left stock I can't launch EA games. Even when I tried changing just the layout to Tablet rather than phone (DPI was left at 320), plants vs zombies would not launch. strange.
