Seeing it's SCSI, you would need a SCSI card/controller for that

And is it really 80 pin? I didn't know there was 80pin SCSI harddrives.

Like gonx said , you will need a controller card. Also you need to take those links out of the thread topic. You need to read the TOS before you do stuff like that. Just a heads up before you get warning from a mod.

Those are there from the site, don't know exactly what they're for but I read a post on another thread from the Admin saying they're not sure if its staying or not.

80pin SCSI are used for hot swappable drives, usually in an external array. Both power and data are sent through the same connector. If you're wanting to use them in your computer you're gonna need a SCSI card, probably a WUIII/U160, check the HDD for type. I doubt if its U320. And a 68pin/50pin (depending on card) to 80pin connector. A power connector is needed for each HDD though.

I don't think I have ever seen a 80pin SCSI drive that wasnt U320. Could be wrong. I use 2x 80pin Maxtor Atlas 15KII drives in my computer. Like KingTim says, you will need adapters which are the generally cheap.

To reach U320 speeds you need a PCI-X or a more expensive PCI-E adapter card (PCI-X is not PCI-Express). Depending on which is more important to you, if you use a PCI-X card, you will not downgrade your PCI-E x16 connection down to x8. Odds are you wont be able to get PCI-X anyway since it is only seen on high-end i975X boards and server motherboards. I know there is a also a AMD board made by Asus, the M2N32-WS Professional.

Also since those U320 drives are LVD (Low Voltage Differential), should you get more than 1, you will need a SCSI cable with a terminator. Many ppl make a mistake thinking that LVD drives have termination built in and buy the wrong cable. Also make sure the cable allows for the correct U160/U320 transfer speed to be negotiated.

If its 80pin its probably a 160u drive with an lvd connector for hot swapping. You can get an adapter to 68pins. You will also need an ultra 160 card to get the best performance out of it. My room mate use to have one of those, it took us like 2 days to setup cuz he didn't receive the correct adapters from the store he bought it from lol.
