so tempted to get one biggrin.gif

I've always wanted to get a case with a horizontal motherboard layout, but this has no windows, and has that frame that make it harder to work in than a case like this should.

With Danger Den gone, I can't get an extended air box. sad-smiley-002.gif

I concede the ugliness of the HAF series but I do somewhat enjoy it.......But only two 3.5" drive support destroys all hope of me ever owning one. I really hope I can eventually rip out that 4 2.5" dock to add maybe a 3 3.5" or a combo 2 3.5" and 1 2.5" because I need more than just two 3.5" drives inside my cases....... Last week I was looking at Cases with 8+ 3.5" bays and those are scarce to begin with.

I keep seeing these reviewers say 6 3.5" drive bays but I'm just not seeing any menntion of it from CM, maybe the think the small 2.5" dock supports 3.5" as well???? I'll keep reading.

*Edit* Yeah so with only two 3.5" drives supported I couldn't make it work, I could do with only 4 natively and then one with a 5.25" cage (my fan controller be damned!! tongue.gif) but not two natively.

I really like the interior setup for a case. Nothing I would buy, but the horizontal motherboard platform is pretty nice.

And I have to agree with many others hear. The exterior...needs some work. It's as if Cooler Master melted down every deformed and mutilated HAF case in existence and crafted the HAF XB using the remains.

The only thing irks me are the 80mm fans down below. I wish Cooler Master would have opted for a 120mm instead (I know it would make the case slightly larger).

I was going to grab a MM H2g0 but this has officially halted that purchase. It looks promising, will def take up less space than my R5 as well. 99.00 is cheap, buying one next week.

They should have made the window cover most of the top panel.
