They're un-restricted and are just designed to pump air into the bottom cab.

You can easily get quiet 80mm's for cheap (Enermax T.B. Silence 80mm's are a good start.) So not really a big deal.

The case should have been able to support more 3.5" drives though.

I must also be in the minority. The HAF line has a rugged aesthetic that appeals to my manly, inner lumberjack. I might pick up this case and some flannel shirts for an upcoming HTPC build I am planning.

I'm a fan.

I don't really have an opinion on the Haf series. I bought and sold a Haf 912 but never got to play with it.

The XB is different and I like the looks. The drive space doesn't bother me much because of all the TBs of space I'm using I really only utilize about 500GB.

I think I was just hoping it would be more like the Danger Den Torture Rack. A couple of 120mm fan holes on the bottom, suitable for another 240 rad.

With the HAF Xb we didn't have more space for 3.5" drives. Since it's the smallest size chassis for this type form factor.

We needed more space for the top to support all coolers including LN2 pots so I did not want to make the bottom area bigger than 80mm fan support. The bottom area would never be suitable for radiators from an ergonomic and a practical perspective.

SSD are becoming cheap. A nice 256GB (or a couple) is decently enough for lan parties or just gaming imho.

Damn you CM!!!! I want one now so bad redface.gif. When's is the window version hitting retailers?!?!?!?!

Wouldn't mind making my own external radbox to house my Monstas with this bad boy biggrin.gif

Does anyone know how well a couple of these would stack on top of each other? As long as the top vent isn't used for intake, I feel like these might make for a neat modular rack system.

Mine will be here this evening. I've never been excited about receiving a case in the mail, until now. biggrin.gif
