Scoff all you want, but IBM has a long history of taking breakthroughs and existing technology and implementing/refining them in a way that is plausible for the real world.

IBM has been bringing about new technology that helps both your average consumer and enterprise corporations. The difference is that they are implementing a tiny water cooling system for enterprise solutions (mainly datacenters) but can also help in consumer applications later.

People should probably check the source before making stupid comments.
