PH-TC14PE Temp Problem

I'm running a 3770k @ 4.8 Ghtz with 1.35 Volts. I am getting 95-100C temps according to coretemp with Prime95 Smal FFT.

I'm assuming those temps are pretty high? Should I re-install the heatsink?

I'm a couple generations behind but that temp sounds smoking to me.

Don't know limits of 3770 but you probably need to back you OC down some. wink.gif

Beyond that we need more information to determine what will improve your cooling... like what case, intake/exhaust fans, orientation of cooler, GPU, etc. Cooler isn't the only thing doing the job. How your case is flowing air and removing the hot air from cooler and GPU are also very important.

It's on an open test bench with some fans blowing over everything.
