Best Cheap Audio+Chat headset for PS3?

I am trying to find a headset to use on my PS3 that will allow me to hear game audio sound and chat at the same time. I have come across a few sets.

DreamGEAR PS3 Elite Gaming Headset $36.97
Turtle Beach Ear Force P11 $44.65
Turtle Beach Ear Force PX21 $59.99
Tritton TRIAX-180 AX 180 $63.03
Rude Gameware - Primal PC Gaming Headset $39.95

Surround Sound Units:
Turtle Beach Ear Force DP11 Dolby Surround Sound $114.43
Turtle Beach Ear Force DPX21 Headset and 5.1/7.1 Channel Dolby Surround Sound $119.99

I am not sure what others are using out there which would be good quality but any help is appreciate it. I have amazon prime that is why those prices are different then GameStop stores or other websites.

I c, they look pretty cool and I added those to my list of headsets. I am almost leaning toward the Surround sound unit one I think. However, I am not sure if I can grab those soon. I am currently comparing those two surround sound unit side by side to see which one is best for the money.

I have a pair of Astro A30's that i used with their mixamp that i used with my ps3 for a while before selling off the mix amp, but they worked out great.

Not exactly a cheap option though

Ic, I notice that the unit I was going to get you can't run stereo + chat from the usb so, I am considering other options like a home stereo system to route the audio to my headset and the chat separately. Hopefully I can grab something that gives me good surround sound.

Just in case you didn't buy anything already what I did was went to radioshack and got an audio(those white and red cables) to 3.5mm jack. Works extremely well and you can get a very nice pair of headphones like the Audiotechnica AD700's. As for the mic you can get either a bluetooth or a usb soundcard and a mic that plugs into it.

I c, I purchase all of that before but decided to go after the Turtle Beach Ear Force DP11 $112.17 and is an amazing setup. I am really enjoying playing my games better now at night specially Black Ops II. thumb.gif

Sorry in advance if this is irrelevent or you've already looked at them.

I used to use some Tritton AX 720 and they were quite awesome when they worked. Then one day I was just taking them off my head and the headpiece clips that keep the size adjusters in place broke. So I really didn't have much faith in Tritton headsets after that.

I was hesitant but wen't out and purchased the basic wireless sony headset for $100 bucks (was being a cheapo) and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I can roam around my apartment with them on, they're comfy, durable, and has the 5.1 surround sound button located on the top portion of them.

The bad thing about them is they aren't exactly "stylish" and the battery lasts about 4 to 5 hours of gameplay fully charged. But for the price I believe they were a great bargain.
