I have a GTX560 hat uses v7, but is not the SE, and I still get the slow 76XX WUs in addition to some of the other faster WU's that still only produce around 9~12k. Contrasted with what I get on normal packets (16~17k PPD using v6), I am not convinced I will stay on V7 once the Beta units stop coming in. rolleyes.gif

I think we're at a stage now where we should just keep the updated core unfortunately.

Indeed, it seems all the WUs now require 2.25.

Check to see if your Vender : Device ID is in the GPUs.txt file.  If you don't see it listed there, you will probably have to open a ticket on foldingforum.org to get the issue resolved.

(Oops, double post FTW).

Already did that here:

https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/FAHClient/ticket/954

They have updated the txt file but not yet updated the client to resolve the issue.

In the meantime my V6 clients on the GPU and CPU crashed last night. GPU client lost a 14k WU at 94% completion. No points were given for it. No points for TC. With a 10:16 TPF on the 7625 WUs I cannot afford for the client to be crashing like this.

Right, but his is an OEM GTX 555, so it may have a different ID than a retail GTX 560 SE.  I'm not sure, I was just throwing it out there for something for him to check.
