Sapphire HD 7750 Low Profile crashing computer in full screen video

The card: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1159&pid=1658&psn=&lid=1&leg=0

I bought this card a little over three weeks ago, and for the most part it has performed as good if not better than I expected. I've had one issue since the beginning though, where it would randomly crash the computer just a few minutes (or less) during full screen video. This happened twice with VLC, different videos, probably a week apart from each other. Both instances I could reboot and the videos would play fine. The crash consists of the video going black, followed by audio going out a second or two later (video and audio are through HDMI). The computer remains 'on' but no response from input to bring it back, and I have to hold the power button to turn it off.

Today though, it was a YouTube video (video from this article on The Verge). The first time it crashed, I tried logging in remotely from another computer using RDP. The computer wasn't located on the network (and I'd previously used RDP on this computer just days earlier). I restarted the computer, and tried the video again. Same exact issue on the same video, although at a different point in the video. This was the first time I'd ever been able to duplicate the problem, so I decided to test it....

I turned the computer off, plugged the HDMI cable into the on-board HDMI port (Intel HD 4000 via a 3570k) and tried the video. No crash. Tried the video four more times, no crash. The entire time the 7750 was still in the PCI-Express slot. Turned the computer off, put HDMI back in the 7750, tried the video, crash. Reboot, try the video again, crash. Turn off, put HDMI in the on-board, try video three more times, no crashes.

Now the big question, I'm within my 30-day return period for Amazon... do I exchange the video card for a new one of the same model, hold onto the card in hopes that it's merely a driver issue that will soon be fixed (7000 series is still relatively new), or some 3rd option? Because of the limitations of my case (single slot, low-profile) this is the 'only' card that will fit without me dipping down into considerably less performance, so I'd like to keep the card, even if it's a replacement.... but I am open to suggestion within reason.

Thanks in advance!
