would it be possible to install windows 7 or 8 to the samsung galaxy s2, ive been searching around and some say its possible others say it isnt.

i can understand windows 8 working better as it being better designed for smaller systems.

It's not currently possible. A galaxy S2 has an ARM CPU, Windows requires an x86 or x64 CPU.

On the basis of legality, my original statement stands. I'm sure Android > Windows 8 as far as ARM based devices go anyway. It will take a while before apps start getting ported over.

i will admit and we all know if it was possible to install it wouldnt work properly but you would think that ms would want to put it out in the market for all tablets

What? Yes. Windows RT is the ARM version of Windows 8 and it's already been out for about two weeks...
