Stuff like Nvidia adaptive vsync and Nvidia CUDA and TXAA/FXAA

Radeon pro. Dynamic framerate control=adaptive v-sync. You can even apply SMAA

I am 80% towards the 7950 because its cheaper so I can invest money into something else and it'll be better for oc. Sad thing is that I dont know how to oc a 7950.. Do you do it through a program? if so how much higher should I put the speed to?

HD 7950 cards overclock to 1.15 Ghz quite easily. HD 7950(1.15 Ghz) is faster than GTX 680(1.25 Ghz) / GTX 670(1.3 Ghz) . if you still want to pay more for GTX 670 FTW thats a personal choice.

The Gigabyte HD 7950 OC runs at 900 Mhz. You can go for voltage overclocking. Gigabyte has also released a boost BIOS with 1 Ghz boost clocks. you could use this BIOS. max out power control to +20% to prevent clock throttling and you will run faster than 670 FTW even at stock settings.

If you don't want to go for voltage overclocking you can definitely try 1.1 Ghz at stock voltage.you can use AMD CCC or sapphire trixx.

the windforce 3x cooler is one of the best. the cooler helps achieve very high overclocks. One of the highest HD 7950 overclock on air in ocn is bruennis Gigabyte HD 7950 at 1280 Mhz.. you may not get so lucky but even an average 1.15 - 1.2 Ghz is very good. so good luck. thumb.gif

your 6870 gets about 5K, right?

edit: your psu is fine. it could prolly handle 2 7950s but don't push it.

your psu supplies 675w on +12v rail. thats more than enough for a single HD 7950 system.
