I'm not sure what the difference is between the Mayhems version and the regular, since the original formula is already a milky-pastel white. I was thinking about putting a couple drops of Mayhems in it though rolleyes.gif

Coolants just aren't worth it to me anymore. Sure they'll look good the first time you fill it then you'll take a few pictures enjoy that milky white ice dragon coolant but after that I hardly ever look at all my components and coolant again. No need to spend $30 on something I'll notice a few times but that's just my opinion. Back to distilled + pt nuke and maybe some cheap mayhems dye for me the next time I redo a loop.

Doing distilled water for my first lc build...Not interested in the limited time eye candy and then having to deal with deposits

So all in all it seems like my thoughts were somewhat right. Most of us use water and maybe a dye and some silver coils or something. I guess its more of a Form over Function thing. If Im not making the PC a show PC then why spend so much on pretty coolant....

Distilled water and mayhem dyes for color plus some silver for algaecide.

Exactly! Plus pure distilled performs better than any other coolant from everything Ive seen.

I've been using Ice Dragon for a few builds now...looks great just plain white. But I've added dyes to it as well, and it responds well.

Really? thinking.gif I just thought that was kind of a myth....or something done many many years ago when water cooling was in it's infancy.
