PC will be used for zbrush, photoshop 3ds max and gaming

Hello guys. I have a p9x79 and an i7 3930k.

1) I was wondering if my xigmatek s1283 will fit on that socket ?

2) Also, what do i have to be on the lookout when buying ram. ?

3) I am not sure about my graphics card choice. My budget is under 300$

thank you !! You helped me so much five years ago now i need your help once again smile.gif

This RAM.you probably will get (and can use) 16 gb

Your board and chip will most likely be able to run the RAM @ 2133Mhz no problem.
Only way to see if your cooler fits is to try it thumb.gif
Hmmgraphics..hmm..gimme a min..I saw something the other day..
Ideally something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814195107

Do you think Nvidia is better for a rig that will be used for 3d applications ?

Im kind of leaning for the 7950 right now

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=67618&vpn=AX7950%203GBD5-2DHPP&manufacture=PowerColor&promoid=1209

At this price plus far cry 3 hitman and watchdogs its seems like a rather good deal.

Im just wondering if it performs well in 3d applications
