The Gigabyte card came today. This thing is fast!
While gazing inside my case... looking at all the money I've spent on this thing in the past months... I thought to myself, "Wow this hose layout makes the system look lame!"
So now I have the following ordered...
PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing - 7/16in. ID X 5/8in. OD - Onyx Black x5 feet
Enzotech (BRHF-G1/4-12-30) 30 Degree Rotary Fitting G 1/4 Thread - Matte Black x1
Enzotech (BRHF-G1/4-12-45) 45 Degree Rotary Fitting G 1/4 Thread - Matte Black x1
Enzotech (BRHF-G1/4-12-60) 60 Degree Rotary Fitting G 1/4 Thread - Matte Black x1
Enzotech BRCPS-G1/4-12 90 Degree Rotary Fitting G 1/4 Thread - Matte Black x1
IC Diamond 7 Carat Thermal Compound - 1.5 gram x1
Lamptron Elite Aluminum Reusable 5/8" OD Liquid Tubing Clamps - Anodized Red x10
Phobya 13mm (1/2") 90° Tubing Connector - Matte Black x3
Phobya Angled 60° Adaptor Revolvable G1/4" to G1/4" Inner Thread - Round - Black Nickel Plated x1
Phobya Angled Double 45° Adaptor Revolvable G1/4" Inner to G1/4" Inner Thread - Matte Black Plated x1
I'm going to do a little routing Friday night when everything arrives...
If you noticed the black tubing, I'm going to use it in places that are not going to be seen. Plus I was thinking about alternating colors...
And I've seen a lot of people using the compression fittings, but if you notice all I am using are barbs and clamps. I like the way the anodized clamps look
So my next purchase list should include the following (Once I get rid of my Galaxy 660 ti)
1x Gigabyte 660 Ti
2x XSPC Razor 670 full cover water blocks
2x XSPC Razor 670 Backplates
Mod kit for MCP655
Better 140mm fans
And possibly a platinum rated PSU
Once I have the hardware, I will start with modding the case.
-Hinge the side panel
-Swap the mesh window for a glass window
-Design a front cover and top cover out of dark colored plexiglass
-Put some Futurama art on it
(I will need help with that part...)Edited by Eeyore888 - 1/29/13 at 10:59pm
