A: Within the next month, 3 months, 6 months, Other (please specify)

I buy upgrades whenever I can afford them, just got a used 4890 from this site to x-fire with the one that I already own. I also plan on getting an SSD within the next 6 months.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?

I always take a look at what the primary usage is going to be and then build around that.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
In 6 months, hopefully the HD8000 series will be ready or the GTX780 by then. Also the Piledriver vs Haswell will be interesting.

A: (Choose: Price, Performance, Graphics Capability, Brand, Other (please specify)
Performance first, then Price

Probably not for at least 3 months, but perhaps up to 6 months or more.

Best price-to-performance operation at any current time and brand does not matter.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
If I got the money, maybe next year. It is going to be a new build instead.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
Performance.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
A: I don't plan to upgrade my current build. Next time i need to refresh i am going to start from scratch with a new, high end build. Might even make a log out of it biggrin.gif I'll probably do it in about a year.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
A: Relativly high stock clock, with great potensial for overclocking, but also affordable. I've had some bad experiences with AMD CPU's so it will probably be an Intel.
