When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
Within the next 3 months I'll have enough free funds (tax refunds) for a 8350 that my rig badly needs.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
First I look at compatibility, will the cpu work with the current motherboard platform that I have at the moment? Next is price and performance; I want to get the maximum amount of performance that I can get from each cent that I pay since I have a strict budget that I absolutely need to adhere to.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
A: 3 months is most likely, looking at the release of the 8970.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
A: Price:Performance ratio. Most of the highest grade parts don't present a linear relationship between higher gains equivalent to cost.
