So you dont want to spend time customizing but you choose a wm that needs extensive configuring and hacking to become what you seem to want..

Maybe im not reading things right but you seem to be a bit confused on what you want...

I'm not "choosing" it, I'm trying it out.

I already said that I don't mind customising as such, I just want a sane default to start off with that I can fall back to if I get fed up with tinkering around (or that I can use if I can't be bothered in the first place). When I go aggro over having to customise, it's precisely because of that - having to.
