I've never seen this before, and have no clue where to go from here.

ok

What board is it?

What memory is it?

What's it's rated speed?

Have you overclocked your machine?

ASUS P8Z77-V LK
G.SKILL Ripjaws X ddr3 1600
No my machine is not overclocked

After some research on Google, some people said they should try a different version of Memtest with a + after it, I am wondering if this may be the issue?

Memtest86+ is the normal app to use, as for your issue. Have you gone into the BIOS and actually set your default clocks etc?

No sir I have not touched anything.

OK

Do a BIOS update, go through and set all your values in there to their defaults specified by the manufactuer. I'm putting it down to the board not pushing enough Vcore for your CPU.

I wanted to try that other version first, only ran for 4 hours, but I got this

I think that was the issue, I was using the wrong version. I did look in the bios though and noticed the speed was set to 1300 so I changed it to 1600.

I am going to let that program run all night and see how that goes before I do anything else tongue.gif

Well, it took 15 hours, but with the Memtest+ it finally got to 7 passes with no errors, so it may be the version of Vegas I am using causing the lockups. I had never used Vegas 12 I installed it with the new motherboard, I always used 10 before. I guess I will resort back to 10 and use that and see if I get a freeze smile.gif.
