Here are screenshots of my BIOS at 4.5 with CPU VCORE Voltage 1.30.
I did run it stable with CPU Power Phase Control on Optimised instead of extreme but needed 1.315 CPU VCORE to keep it stable in Prime 95. I think the power phase at extreme with lower vcore would be better. My temps average around 69-70 C with a H100i cooler but expect them to go down in time as it's newly installed with fresh thermal paste.
I just noticed my VCSSA boot up voltage is at 1.200, should be 1.100, I'm changing it now. I've found with both my 3820 and my 3930k that boot up voltages left on AUTO on high overclocks would fail unless I manually set them the same as the regular voltages.
I have a question though, while running Prime 95 in CPU-Z it says my VCORE voltage is just around 1.290 but in Core Temp it shows my VID as 1.345 on average. Which would be the correct running VCORE voltage? I'm thinking the 1.345 because of the high LLC etc.Edited by KedarWolf - 8/1/13 at 8:53pm
