safely open a power supply?

How would one go about safely opening a power supply so that it could be sleeved?

Firstly, obviously, disconnect the power. Unscrew the screws, ( if there is a void sticker, then remove this and there will be a screw under it normally, this will void your warranty. ) Then lift the cover off. You only really need to sleeve until inside the powersupply hole which the cables come out of, so don't disconnect or cut any wires inside the unit itself.
