g400 driver problems ?

Thread Starter
I am using my g400 for 6 months already and so far I was satisfied until I find out that everytime I exit logitech program on windows my DPI won t save.I am trying to use 1200 dpi but everytime I close it it reverts it to default which is 800.I already tryed new driver and I also tryed messing around with settings in logitech menu but no luck.Does anyone knows what could be the problem,I really want to use 1200 dpi.

The G400 has four native DPI levels. In order to use non-standard DPI levels like 1200, you must run the software. Killing the software disables the driver that does DPI scaling, reverting you to only the four native options.

I don't get it, every time I close the LGS it goes to the tray so your settings should stick.

I would like to run LGS in tray menu but then the problem is that I also use g35 headset and when LGS is running while playing games or anything my sound is very deep just like when the stereo is on and I cant play like that.Is there any chance removing g35 from logitech program ?

I recommend just sticking with the native DPI settings (400, 800, 1800, 3600). The other settings are more interpolated so I am not sure if tracking is good at those custom software driver DPI settings.

800 dpi and 3600 are the native steps the other 2 are halved 800/2 =400 dpi and 3600/2= 1800

I use G400 at 1200 DPI and unfortunately to do this I need LGS running all the time. You could try Windows mouse speed slider to get something close to 1200 from 1800 DPI.
