****in hell yeah hehe. Commander Keen, Duke Nukem (the original side scrollers, not that 3d crap!), Crystal Caves, Prince of Persia... There have got to be more but I can't think of any right now. Good times.

Wow, now there's a flashback (Oh that was a game back then too!) I think I still have all the Commander Keens somewhere including the lost episodes.

Prince of Persia was the most memorable for me because I finally got through all 13 levels when the first sound cards came out. It was like playing a new game then.

There was a game called Lexicross I loved (Remember when 256 color was the latest? ). A combination of scrabble and wheel of fortune with a robot Vanna White.

Tristin Pinball is still pretty realistic for a PC game. I didn't have to waste quarters after that one. Ah yes, the memories are coming back.

Wolfenstien3D was the first, 1st person shooter game that I remember (16 colors) and the original Doom came later (256 colors).

Prince1 came on one 3-1/2" floppy which was amaizing having 13 levels of play, decent grapics and sound. The first sound and video cards came out somewhere in there, after Wolf and before Doom I think.

Commander Keen was in that time frame and came on 5-1/2" floppies. It was more of an arcade style game that sold 6 episodes, just fun to play.

I have all 6 episodes, including the win version! I have played all the games you guys mentioned. Isn't that interesting for a 17 yr old kid?

That's cool! All of these came out in your lifetime too.

I have all the Prince of Persia's except for the latest one. I will get that too one day. Another game that hooked me like Keen was Rayman. I have all but 1 of those. Just a cute little guy on an adventure with lots of levels and hours of playtime. Like POP, he went from 2D to 3D as newer episodes came out.

I think the biggest disappointment for me was Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I was really hoping it would be made with the same concept as the first one. I loved the hidden doors with treasures behind them. The mazes of brick walls with ivy on them. The secret panels and door sounds when they opened. And the voice yelling "Auctung" letting you know you were in for a fight. Oh and can't forget the Doberman Pinchers and your classic AK47! It's really too bad they didn't do the original justice "sigh".

HOLY CRAP, I DIDNT KNOW ANYONE STILL KNEW THIS GAME! Best game ever IMO. I still play it on my old school Packard Bell (I can't believe it was $1400 when we bought that old school Windows 3.1, DOS machine) I remember it was the first game that I could play all day. Which one's did you guys play? I played 1,2,3,4 never went on after number 4!
