Challenge for this week : How to fit 5 green lasers, a piece of UV plexi and a vinyl BORG logo sticker into the sliding door of a COSMOS II ..

Also you might want to leave room foor enough air to get into the fans.
A through and through is not good imo as the warm air of one rad will heat the other.
You might want to look at using 1.2cm fans from scyhthe.
Yeah what I can do it mod the door So it allowed air to get in... 120 mm scythe fans? Those are the gentle typhoons.

I mean these 120mm fans that are 12mm thick (instead of the normal 25mm) http://www.highflow.nl/fans/ventilatoren/scythe/scythe-120mm-slip-stream-slim-1200rpm-sy1212sl12l.html
That will give you enough room on the inside to make a ventilation mesh in the bottom like I have done here
This is the bottom of the COSMOS, just a simple mesh will let air from the bottom be sucked in and I have used the 120mm hole in the fron to push air in also.

Here is another update from the work I have so far !

For the 2 x 480 rads in the bottom I need more air into the case. The front will have a 120mm fan pulling freshair in from the front and I cut a whole into the bottom so the 8 x 120mm fans on the rads can suck clean air in from the bottom.
dsc00104.jpg?w=370&h=

I also received the vinyl BORG logo sticker and cut a piece of UV reactive to the right size.
dsc00105.jpg?w=370&h=

I cut the SSD holes into the plexi and placed a piece of alu behind it.
I already have 2 x 90Gb in Raid 0 for max performance and am looking to score a 240 for storage.
dsc00107.jpg?w=370&h=

This needs a lot of detail filing but I will not bother you with it !
dsc00108.jpg?w=370&h=

I will hook up the led strips to an arduino so I can adjust the light strength. Way to bright now!

The BORG logo for in the door.
dsc00111.jpg?w=370&h=

That was it for today !
Laters!
