I am incapable of rationally responding to this. Anything that I can think of saying beyond this would get me infractions and also probably result in an FBI/CIA/NSA bot red flagging my post and putting me on a terrorist watch list.

It is a design patent for a "unique" Apple-exclusive animation of page turning. It doesn't affect the actual function of page turning itself as far as I know.

Correct me if I am wrong; I am not the most literate when it comes to patents.

Its a patent on the animation from what i gather. And to be honest apple has had the most realistic animation for page turning. Do i agree its silly yes but not worth the hate it will most likely get.
