Safe Voltage for 550Ti

Thread Starter
Just got the card a few days ago and have the latest driver installed. I noticed that when I am playing my 3D Texas Hold'em game on high graphics I would get a little stutter step occasionally. Overclocking the card did not help. I am satisfied with the 951 MHz stock speed anyway. Default voltage is .950. The volts would actually go to 1.050 at the default setting during game play anyway. I guess that is normal ? So I boosted the voltage from .950 (stock) to 1.113. Now the game plays as smooth as butter.

My question is did I do the correct thing and are the 1.113v dangerously high ? The Core usage in game is 68% and the temp is 38 C. Thanks for any help I may get thumb.gif

Try playing the game at stock. And if you still have the stuttering, then it's not a problem with your card.
