Ripping a BIOS is illegal unless you rip the BIOS from a machine which own, a process which I doubt anyone in this has the equipment to do. So downloading a ripped BIOS is illegal.

I have my PS2 with a component to HDMI converter and it's all good

Resident Evil 2 on a 55" screen is pure gaming godliness...

Anyone else here rocking a PS3 controller with MotionJoy for PSX?

It works great.

Excellent. I didn't know this was still in development. I've got Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy IX calling my name.

There is a plugin pack for download somewhere but I cannot remember. I Googled it at the time, though.
I think getting a PS1 BIOS on your PC is illegal though, even if you own a PS1 and the games.
Which is annoying, I'd love to play my PS1 games on my PC legally since I paid for all the products. Just using them in my PC for convenience frown.gif

Im pretty sure ripping this content from your OWN disks, and from your PS1 is legal. Its been done many of times with other consoles, including the PS2. Even on PS2 emulators they exclaim that you must rip from your own stuff, since downloading them is illegal (you didn't own that copy, even if you own a different copy of the same game/ bios). So, if you get a hold of a PS1 for cheap, totally worth it.

I like Dolphin for wii and gamecube, since you can play games without the need to rip a bios, because it uses interpretation for the most part. Its LLE DSP plugin does require a rip from a Wii however. It is also EXTREMELY intensive since the emulator can only use one thread for the DSP emulation, and the whole emulator uses 3 at most total. If you want to run SMG or Xenoblade, you better have a Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge CPU (ie: 2500K or better, and OC'ed).

I've been wanting to get it for Android since a couple of days back, but I keep on getting "unable to process this request" in Play Store. It's not device related (it happens on PC/tablet/phone), so does anyone else have this issue?

My PlayStation library is not very big, but at least I can brag about achieving 100% completion in The World Is Not Enough, Spyro 2 and Spyro 3.
I really liked Hogs of War, too bad that they cancelled the sequel.

those are just nice to play on your phone when you're on the go

You must be 12 years old.

That is the only explanation for your statement.

This. I play almost as many 90's console games these days as I do new games.
