I tought "true" windows 8 is not released yet ? They did that castrated version called RT which runs on ARM and then made the real one available to download for desktops and laptops for people who would like to give it a try but, in my opinion, they should not act surprised finding out that many people have no intention of installing a tablet op system on a desktop. For a laptop - perhaps - but even that is pushing it as most laptops dont have touchscreen. I mean my desktop resolution is 5400x1920 and ... yeah .. Lets just say I tend to multitask
If I'm going for ARM op system I'll better get Android anyway - cheaper, more open and ARM is not compatible anyway with any legacy stuff I want to run. If I need to run legacy stuff then I have my desktop system. One tap on my 7'' 120 euro ARM tablet with nice 1280x800 IPS screen and I have my Desktop in that little device through TeamViewer. All 5400x1920 pixels with Matlab, CAD, Python and anything else I want running.
