Know who your talking to before You open your mouth some more and make yourself look even more like a tool.

Have a good night child.

Lack of basic understanding of the 2 largest computer companies in the world. I don't need to know who I'm talking to to spot the uninformed.

I can write off the lack of understanding them to your heavy linux use, as Dell and HP never really supported Linux much at all and thus you never had to communicate with them (as a theory), but if you are honestly ignorant enough to think installing a program will make Dell or HP support not talk to you, then you don't even belong on OCN. This is basic level knowledge that should come long before building your own PC, as you should know what you will loose in the trade off.

For someone who claims to be in the field, you really just don't have the underlying information to be useful at all in this discussion, and are just trying to "save" the guy from everyone else in the thread. The problem is he doesn't need saving, he needs correcting. That very misinformation he holds about what Dell or HP will or will not care about could have been the difference between $1500 and $5.

But of course, you are correct. We should not tell him things like that. We should also let him buy a 7970 Ghz over a normal 7970 despite it being the same exact silicon. Or let him OC on a board without VRM cooling. rolleyes.gif

Fighting for a cause is good. But don't let it be such an incredibly stupid one that every single person in the thread already said you're wrong before you even posted.

When at anytime did I say anything of what You are talking about? here is what I have said:

"Why does it matter what OS he and his wife decide to use? Are You paying for it? Are You their support?

Seriously..."

"Then Provide PROOF of what You say contact Dell and HP and provide the documents showing that what you say is true and what he says is wrong... prove it and move on. Either way it doesn't matter as they have chosen the Mac/Apple route. In the amount of time you have been riding him it could have already been done and over."

"Yeah... professionalism at it's finest

Sorry... Eat the apple? Uh No thanks. Why in the hell would I want to join the rest of You?

Now run along and go change your pampers like a big boy all that finger flexing over your posts surely has pumped your feathers and stroked your ego

Your just a keyboard Punk.. Nothing more nothing less. Talk down to me and You get it in return."

"I get that... hence the word "they". Because either way You and your wife decided together. Doesn't matter if it's hers or not."

"Yeah so is duct tape rolleyes.gif"

Now explain to me Where anything You are going on about has anything to do with what I have Posted? Everything I have writen besides on this page is in this post.

I think Your Highly delusional...

PS... DO NOT CALL ME IGNORANT

Wow...

You think that as soon as Windows 8 came out, all their Windows 7 support staff were fired and replaced with Windows 8 support staff? If anything, their support staff were simply retrained to support Windows 8 as well as Windows 7. Or they would simply bounce you over to Microsoft, who will have support staff for any products still at least in extended support (Vista, 7, and 8, in addition to all their other current products).

There's no need for proof, there's only the need for common sense.

So much facepalming in this thread.

There is Facepalming in every Windows 8 thread.

To make things clear for those with reading comprehension disabilities my post about HP and Dell has to do with the 2 users going back and forth one says one thing the other said the opposite. If 2 people are at a disagreement about something the only way to solve it is to provide a form of proof to end the debate (Common Sense). It had nothing to do with my own knowledge of the matter (it's quite easy to understand if You read it and if you can't understand it well I don't know what to say).

But then KyadCK, SniperTeamTango, as well Lord Xeb proceeded to be rude as well as calling Xyxox IGNORANT and You know what? No one on this forum should be called that even if they may indeed be. Not only is such behavior against TOS but is also unprofessional for this forum.

Having said this I do NOT APOLOGIZE for anything that I wrote towards KyadCK... Nor does anything that I wrote (meaning the HP, Dell issue) have anything to do with his ranting and once again using the word IGNORANT against me.

The only thing I apologize for is wasting Posts.

In any case may this all rest in peace and move on.

With this being said have a good night everyone thumb.gif
