[SOLVED] RSoD when SLI enabled 680 4GB - Page 2

What happens if you plug your monitor in the second card, while running SLI?
And what type of monitor lead are you using? DVI, VGA??

Plus!

I'm using a DVI cable, switched it into all the ports i've got and changed cables too..After the last driver install i'm back at square one with a red screen instead of flickering..Can't get an image from the second card when the first one is active though (will get one when i flick the first one off)

Have you got all the latest M$ updates installed?
And try unplugging your monitor from the power at the wall for 20 seconds! While the Rig is running!
So to reset and sync the monitor. I have to do this sometimes with my screens, and it can only help smile.gif

Also, you could run the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35

And run CCleaner to check for Reg errors thinking.gif

Yes i have all the updates available with SP1. No difference in sympthoms when I run SLI from the bottom card..still the flickering etc. The results of the benchmark are as follows:

SLI DISABLED:
top card:
FPS: 68.6
scores: 1727
min: 37.1
max: 156.0
direct3d11, 2560x1600 FULLSCREEN, high, high, trillinear, 4x, enabled, enabled, enabled, disabled.
Bottom card:
about the same results.

SLI ENABLED:

immediate redscreen when it goes into fullscreen mode.
When i keep the same settings but I uncheck fullscreen it works, but not as smooth as a single card although it gives me an average of 80-90fps

I've already tried two sli-bridges and two tri-sli bridges and all have the same effect.
All work on a different system with 280gtx's in sli so i've ruled out the faulty bridge problem.

I'm now 100% positive that both cards work in sli. I've done a furmark benchmark in windowed mode and both GPU's hit 99% load. But still i get the RSoD when i put it in full screen somehow, as with everything. fullscreen + sli = rsod
