as long as you wont be doing alot of load heavy stuff itll be fine, especially if you undervolt it some like others said. worst comes to worst if youre dead set on that case you can pick up a 160w picopsu and youll be covered for sure.

Fine for just the processor, yes. But with adding a hard drive, an SSD, etc you are cutting it way too close for comfort to be honest. Could you get away with it? Sure, but I personally wouldn't. Ever have the processor under full load, accessing the hard drive and you're at peak and possibly go over.

You can undervolt the processor and probably be just fine, but then why buy a 3570k?

I think it's doable, especially with undervolting. I had my sig rig in an ITX mobo for a bit when I had an HD7850 GPU and it pulled around 47.5W idle and 102W full CPU load via OCCT (see my thread with more info here, the power consumption info is at the bottom of the OP post). Take away the discrete GPU, undervolt, and with the more efficient at those low loads 90W PSU (versus my 750W) and you might be able to do it. The only wild card might be gaming power consumption as gaming stresses both the CPU and GPU so it pulls more power, but if you won't be gaming with it then that wouldn't be an issue and HD4000 gaming power consumption might not be that high.

I did something similar with my A8-3850 HTPC that I clocked at 1.6GHz 0.875v so I could get it low enough for the 60W power adapter in the small case I used. It was fine for HPTC duties but gaming would push it over the edge even with all the undervloting and unerclocking. I had fun doing mine so give it a shot. Just make sure to plug it into a higher watt PSU while your doing the undervolting and get a kilowatt meter if you don't have one for seeing how much power it's pulling (I have the P3 P4400). If it's mainly an HTPC you might consider an A10-5700 APU and FM2 mobo (although the only ITX FM2 option right now that I know of is the ASRock FM2A75M-ITX). Those Micro Center deals are insanely good though so I understand your choice and LGA1155 is a very flexible platform (serving Celeron all the way to i7).

I'm getting a 3570k because of the microcenter combo deal. It is the same price as getting an i3 and a mobo from newegg.

i think you will be pushing it but since you arent running anything that is power intensive and no overclocking you should be fine.. maybe as people have said undervolt it and downclock.. purchase USB devices with their own power cable and i think you should be good to go

WD Scorpio Black uses 0.8W at idle and 1.75W reading/writing. Processor never gets under full load unless you are using Prime95 or folding or similar.

Didn't say it was likely, lol. Just would suggest getting one bigger if you can.

CPU ~77w
Ram ~3.3w (~1.65w per module, assuming he's using the 4GB modules)
SSD ~0.75w
HDD ~1.75w
CPU fan ~3w

So almost 86w...

not saying you'd actually see that in all likely hood...and certainly not if undervolted. But you're, in my opinion, cutting it too close.
