Hi Folks
I've converted a ammunition box in a PC!

Here is an picture from the ammunition box that i have used...


Its an old ammunition box and quite heavy... (about 12kg)

Here some pictures from the construction phase:





The drilling of the holes has taken a lot of time because the metal is about 6mm thick ... It's also a very hard steel.
I added a 200mm fan and 2 60mm in front.
The power supply I have attached to the bottom of the ammunition box. It has a blueraydrive insite.

I wanted to keep the design simple and "military" so i have attached a couple of cover plates ... (taken frothe sanitary area of ​​a hardware store and painted it by myself)

Currently i have a "low" System inside the case....(Nothing expensive) but you can build anything in it.

Currently System:

ASRock
Phenom II X4 975 (4x 3,6 GHZ)
8GB Ram
2x 1TB Drive
1x Blueraydrive
Ati HD 6850

I'm currently looking to do a project like this. I think the can I go is bigger than what I was hoping for. It's a 20 mm can. I could probably stuff more stuff into it but I wanted to keep the build small. Very very cool though.biggrin.gif

I was thinking of doing something similar, but with a military gas can. I found some cool fighter-jet style toggle switches I was thinking of using for a power or fan switch. Great job on the ammo can build.
