Games with Enjoyable Campaigns - Page 3

I enjoyed the Starcraft II campaign quite a bit. Now would be a good time to get into it as the expansion is slated for March 2013. The Witcher games also have great single player campaigns.

I have to agree with you, when i first saw the topic i thought to myself "there are lots of good campaigns", but when i was gonna count them, i realized that all the games was 5-10 years old (oh I'm getting old blushsmiley.gif). I rarely play games anymore since I'm not a big fan of multiplayer games and there are no good single player games on the market that i like. But some games I've enjoyed recently are:

Portal 1 & 2 - more the 2nd game, but it connects nicely to the first, so i say play them both
Elder Scroll: Skyrim - Never been a fan of RPG's and have played about 300-400hours so far
The Half Life saga - started playing HL2 and then the episodes, now i cant wait for the sequel

One series that I'm looking to pick up at this christmas holiday sale is the Bioshock games, looks to be a really good campaign.

1 Game.

Alpha Protocol.

By far the most mis-understood game ever.

Play it like you would a RPG and not a 3rd person shooter and you will LOVE it. The single-player campaign is the deepest I have ever seen, the way your choices change the game is HUGE.....

That's the hard part because I haven't really played that many games in the big scheme of things. I grew up with consoles so that's what I am used to. Decided against making a list of games I have played because I don't want people to cater to that. I've just noticed in the past 5 years or so that things have been shifting away from campaign to online and just not a fan of online play.

Thank you very much for the suggestions and feedback smile.gif

Yeah, I completely feel the same way. Thanks thumb.gif

Half-Life including Opposing Force and Blue Shift
Half-Life 2
Entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R series (try the Complete mods or MISERY if you want a hellish time in the Zone)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
F.E.A.R. 1 & 2
Call of Duty 1 & 2
AvP 1 & 2
ESIII: Morrowind

My top choice is S.T.A.L.K.E.R series however. It's the most unnerving FPS I've ever played.
