why didn't you go for a closed loop water cooler instead? something like the h80i? (seems the h90 and kraken x40 are tight fits with the graphics card)

closed loop water coolers are good for cooling the CPU, but they are both louder and provide less turbulent airflow within the case. Even with a tower cooler the air inside the case gets pushed around more randomly, which provides better cooling for your motherboard components. If you use a water cooler the airflow gets very laminar and you should add a fan blowing on your motherboard if you want to increase the lifetime of it.
